Gastroparesis is a syndrome defined by delayed gastric emptying in the absence of mechanical obstruction and pyloroplasty has been shown in several retrospective series to provide long-term symptom resolution. Here we present a video of a robotic-assisted pyloroplasty in a 50-year-old female with chronic gastroparesis, the onset of which coincided with implantation of a vagal nerve stimulator for epilepsy more than 5 years earlier.
