The Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Penn State Health, Penn State College of Medicine, which enjoys a long history of excellent clinical outcomes and important clinical and translational research, is seeking two highly qualified, clinically strong, academically oriented and motivated Board-certified/eligible Colon and Rectal Surgeons at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The Division currently includes 5 Full Time and 2 Part-Time Colorectal Surgeons and one Full-Time PhD scientist. Penn State Health is a rapidly growing multi-hospital health system serving patients and communities across 29 counties in central Pennsylvania and the Northeast.
Position Highlights
- ACGME-approved Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery.
- High quality clinical program treating patients afflicted with a broad spectrum of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.

Requirements
- A strong commitment to collegial teamwork and outstanding patient care, Medical Student, Surgical Resident and Colorectal Surgery Fellow education and a genuine interest and dedication to scholarly activity and impactful research.
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
