SAGES Early Career Faculty Researcher

Formerly known as the Young Researcher Award, this award was established in 1995 and re-named in 2021.
This award is designated for young member of SAGES who is 3-8 years after completion of fellowship training.
The award criteria include significant clinical and/or basic science research, publication or presentation at national meetings, and dedication to an academic career.

Nominations may be submitted by SAGES Leadership only (Officers, Board, and Committee Members).
The award is available to current SAGES members only.
Nominee must be a young SAGES member of within 3-8 years of completing fellowship training.
Only work accomplished as faculty member will be considered this award.
The winner will receive:
- Complimentary registration for SAGES 2025.
- Complimentary economy airfare to SAGES 2025 via our travel agent.
- 2 Complimentary nights in an official event hotel.
- An honorarium of $1000 honorarium.
