SAGES runs a large meeting annually and several smaller workshops and sympoisa throughout the year. Additionally, we endorse courses held by other organizations and institutions.

This workshop has been designed by the SAGES Research Committee in order to provide its membership with education and personalized training on obtaining the skill set required for academic success. The overarching goal of this 1 ½ day program is to provide fellows and junior faculty with a venue for interaction with experienced faculty with a track record of successful publication, funding, and mentorship.
Endoscopy Workshops for Fellows: September 25-26, 2008 and November 13-14.
SAGES plans to offer two half day didactic courses at different regional society annual meetings in 2008 and 2009. SAGES has partnered successfully with the New England Surgical Society, the Western Surgical Association, Midwest Surgical Association and Southeastern Surgical Congress in the past.
