LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM THE JUNE 2002 AMA MEETING

I recently attended the annual June AMA meeting and have two very positive pieces of information to report. The first is that SAGES member John Armstrong was elected to serve on the MA Board of Trustees and the Young Physician Trustee. Dr. Armstrong is an attending general surgeon in general and trauma/critical care at Brooke Army Medical Center. SAGES is one of the principal societies that supported his election.
